Ignore people who say it’s a disability. Ignore people who say we are born like this. And ignore people who say there is nothing we can do and we just have to accept it. It’s all wrong. The stammering community I feel resigns itself to the fact we speak this way - stammering is beautiful. Nonsense - it’s is shit. No one would choose to speak like it. But there are people out there who can help. For crying out loud, reach out to them. John Harrison and Lee Lovett are two. Lovett I’m Not 100% sold on but literally loads of people do. Harrison is best tho. Don’t waste your life.
