Is having a relationship difficult with a stutter?

Is having a relationship difficult with a stutter? Do you guys think having a relationship such as with your gf or wife is difficult when you have a stutter? Especially communicating ? Or would girls find this cute ? I am scared to approach a girl I like but I feel like my stutter will work as a barrier and make it more difficult to go up to her.
