Taking it at face value, it's well-meaning, but it's like someone saying, "We don't care about your cat," or "We don't care about the leak in your bathroom." My cat and my bathroom obviously has no impact on them, and if they truly don't care about my stutter, I still do, just like I care about my cat (greedy little shit though he is), and I would care about a leak in the bathroom. So it doesn't bother them? Ok, cool, whatever. I've still got to deal with it.
