I think the only way is to accept its part of you and own it. Push through the things that are uncomfortable to you and over time they become more comfortable. Talking with strangers at work and stuff can suck but I've reached a point where let's say I'm going through the drive through. The speaker boxes are one of the worst things for my stutter. But I roll up and do it anyway. I know I'm Going to stutter. I might even have to repeat my myself to the person taking my order. But eventually they'll work out what I want and as soon as I have the fact that I stuttered doesn't matter at all. I've got what I want the fast food shop has their money. I doubt the server gives a shit once the transaction Is over. It's only you who can make that a horrible experience for yourself.
