I think it kinda puts him in a weird position. Especially if he likes you a lot. Because it's something he's had to battle his whole life and for good reason. There's nothing beneficial about stuttering aside from the fact that you think it's cute ;) He still needs to continue his diligence and work on his stuttering and you may have given him pause. What if he ends up fully taming his stuttering? Will he be less cute to you? Will he have that thought? With that said, it warmed my heart to read that you think his stuttering is cute. Seriously. I had a moment of some intense joy when I read that and thought about it. I've never heard of anybody thinking that and I just love it. Maybe because my little brother stutters and it gives me more hope of him finding someone that loves everything about him and his numerous spectrum issues.
