Any time I have brought it up with him, it's been from a point of view that his stuttering isn't holding him back, but it's rather more of the nervousness that comes with it that is. I'm sure getting over that nervousness is possible, since it's something I've had to get over. But is it wrong of me to want him to get over it if it's something that would help him? I don't know how to make it come from a place of love, rather than a selfish place when it is also partially selfish.
