33F, I've met a surprising number of other people who stutter. My uncle first of all, but I feel like that doesn't count since we're related. I worked with somebody at my first job as a teenager who also stuttered, and there was a regular customer who stuttered at another job I had as a teen. One of my speech therapists stuttered, and I met one of her other clients while I had her as a therapist. In more recent years I've met a handful of people who are similar to me, where we are passably fluent most of the time but still stutter in certain situations/circumstances. Off the top of my head I can think of 3 acquaintances who fall into that category.
