Stutter normally but fluent when I argue. And I don't know why I wanted to know if this happens to anyone too. I stutter and have blocks during normal conversations but when it comes to making my point in a debate/argument situation I'm 99% fluent. I'm not too sure why this is. And how I can make it the norm. My first thought was that it's because I don't think about stuttering therefore I don't. Until I had a debate about my stutter (so it was obviously on my mind) and even then I was pretty fluent. Could it be because I'm so focused on "winning" the debate and I know if I stutter it will lessen those chances, so I don't?? It would be so amazing if I could harness the same mindset for everyday speech. Has anyone else noticed they are more fluent in these kinds of scenarios?
