The key to controlling your stutter is the very thing you lose when you start actively trying to "fix" it. The most important thing is that you need to be aware of your breath, try to make yourself as comfortable as you can and slowly speak the words. Try it when you're alone. Write a few hard words on a sheet of paper and practice saying them so slowly you kinda feel silly. Remove the speed in your speech. You have to understand, that becoming stressful and especially trying harder to push the words out ultimately will only make it worse. If you can get yourself to a state that you don't stutter when you're alone, you know that you can speak fluently. When you start stuttering when others are with you, think about why that happened. What made you nervous and how can you handle your emotions to keep the calm (ish) state of mind? If you want me to explain more you can always hit me up.
