Really, it’s not. The OP has lost all hope to be able to communicate. Here is another path for in person communication that is totally valid, should one want to put in the work. To use your analogy, the OP is convinced he will never walk ever in his life and has resigned himself to scooting himself around on his ass — why doesn’t he try using a wheelchair instead?
