View it as a way to practice your techniques. One thing I did in intensive speech therapy was just make tons of phone calls to random stores. I'm 27, and we're similar here - but seriously, is this really anything new for us? We've both probably stuttered around 20 years, should it really bring us that much dread to talk to someone on the phone? Are we going to be 80 year old men afraid of phone calls someday? Face that anxiety head on and get over it. You're anxious because you care too much what other people think. Stop it.
