The thing is, talking is about so much more than simply verbalising words. A huge amount of communication is timing and tone. Especially if you want to get 'fancy' with humour or eloquence. I can't really tell a joke, a joke is not funny when the punchline comes disjointed, mangled, and broken. As just one example, that makes up a *huge* amount of daily life. There are many aspects of speech that are simply off limits to anyone with a severe enough stutter. It is, of course, important to acknowledge that many things still are possible. But saying that anything is possible, nothing is off limits, is just not representative of many stutterers and kinda denies their struggles, and makes it sound like it's all their own lack of effort. To be very reductive, it feels like "just say it" dressed up in fancy clothes.
