Yep, you described it perfectly. I started my freshman year at college this week and I've found it to be more severe than usual, especially amidst all the introductions, icebreakers, and so forth. No matter what strategies I try, I can't get myself out of it. It's been incredibly difficult and I'm already feeling isolated.
