Empathy. If you are talking you aren’t listening and you aren’t learning. You learn to read people and recognize social queues. I feel like my stutter made me miss out on a lot of things as a kid, that’s true. I’m a middle aged man now though and my stutter is mostly managed. I realize that the man I have become owes a lot to my stutter.
