Can’t agree with you. While it’s true that brain is enormously complicated organ and its physiology and connection to psychology is far from understood, there are known phenomenons which make stuttering almost disappearing. For example, speech with metronome, delayed audio feedback, acting as another person, introducing accent, etc. All of this does not require any meds. On another side, anxiety mostly aggravate speech, so meds and/or some mental techniques can help. These are just examples that give hope. Personally, I believe that if not complete cure but some kind of “cane” is feasible and possible in the near future.
