Was my friend making fun of my lack of experience? I’m 23, and she’s 22. We’ve known each other since high school and I haven’t had any romantic experiences. And because we’ve known each other for so long, she knows I haven’t. My friend crush her job. One day, they went to the mall and together. They ended up having sex in his car. That was your first time doing it. A few days later, she and I hung out and she told me what happened. She told me the whole story of what let up that situation. After she finished telling me the story, she patted my shoulder and said “don’t worry, it’ll happen for you”. The guy ended up ghosting her a week later, and she was totally heartbroken about it. I feel terrible that her first time was so traumatic. But I also wonder if she was trying to mock me in that moment?, I got so embarrassed, just talking to people. And well, my lack of experience might’ve been endearing to some at first, unfortunately society dictates people’s thoughts. And I’m getting to an age where society would deem my lack of experience as weird.
