Any Nervous Habits While Stuttering? Hey guys! Just curious about something. Do you guys have any nervous habits you do while stuttering? For example, when I talk and I begin to stutter, I beat my palm against my right thigh in order to get some sort of rhythm going to get the blocked word out. This works like 60% of the time. I also tend to tap my foot, and if I'm sitting on a desk, I drum my fingers against the desk. My friends notice that I beat my palm against my thigh and tease me a little about it, but it's alright. Just wondering if any of you guys have some sort of similar habit or thing you guys do when you stutter?
