I did it several years ago -- I think it was a turning point for me in being more open about my stutter, thinking about methods to reduce my stutter, and leaning towards acceptance. The course is really expensive though, and the effects didn't last as they were during or shortly after the course. You are supposed to constantly monitor your speech and use these techniques that can make your speech sound a little weird/off. So, with the cost and time commitment, I would probably consider a local speech therapist or something like that. Curious to hear thoughts from others.
