It can but that won’t help you get a job or keep a job because it’s would be difficult and very costly to try to actually enforce it, and in at will states they can just let you go for anything. Or do what’s known as quiet firing until either you quit from frustration and no accommodation, and being left out or they find some other excuse to terminate you.
