I stutter more when I say words that begin in vowels too, or soft sounds, like "m" or "h", so I feel your pain! As far as the name change goes, if you like your name, then don't change it. Maybe you can come up with a nickname for yourself that's easier for you to say. Maybe just "Vee"?
