Working with someone who stutters. How can I make things easier?

Working with someone who stutters. How can I make things easier? Hi everyone! So I was assigned to a new work project and the project manager has a bit of a heavy stutter. I have worked with him in the past but very briefly and I did my best to be very patient, understanding and inclusive. I am now working with him full time now and I just don't want to screw things up or make him feel bad about his stutter. Any advice on how to make things easier for him whilst being inclusive? Should I try and shorten lengthy work discussions and conversations during 1-on-1 talks? During group discussions, should I be inclusive and ask for his opinion or would that be considered putting him on the spot in a group setting? Any other tips and advice so I can hopefully avoid being a complete idiot? Apologies about these questions, I feel like an idiot and I know that these questions make me seem like I'm socially inept, but the last thing I want is to make him feel bad about his stutter, and I want him to feel included in the workplace without me 'treating him differently' because of his stutter. Thanks in advance! :)
