TIL: I stutter in sign language I’ve had a vocal stutter for as long as I can remember, and recently I decided to learn sign language to help on particularly rough days. Learning went fairly smoothly, but when I tried it in public for the first time, my hands locked up and jittered in the same way my mouth does when I speak. Have any of you had similar experiences?
