The way you phrased that is really rough on someone who knows their stutter is that severe. Presentations are difficult in that position no matter how hard you practice and prepare. I don't think you should never offer feedback, but if that's how you phrased it, it wasn't very constructive. There's not really anything they can do about it, so why mention it?
