Yeah social anxiety greatly aggravates the stutter. Although one problem regarding this is this: The way people deal with social anxiety, is to force yourself into social situations and make an effort to talk and open up. Eventually they get comfortable around people and get over that anxiety. However for us stutterers, we first need to be comfortable enough to talk in the first place. So there's a loop here that needs to be broken. I don't know how to break this loop.
