Lack of sleep affects my speech a lot. Mindfulness meditation and/or breathing practice for 5-10 minutes right before meetings/speaking engagements helps quite a bit. In a long run, if I keep on speaking/reading out loud consistently for few hours a day, for 3-4 days, I notice my speech improve considerably.
