I think in some ways yeah. In my revision I'll be covering similar topics constantly, so I guess there can sometimes be moments where I'll stutter due to multiple ideas for an answer or method coming together. In a lot of cases where I stutter, I'm brainstorming a topic, or quickly trying to recall information. I'm sure the speed of my speech doesn't help, but I can't stand talking any slower to myself. In public, my stuttering usually comes out when I'm trying to whip out a joke, or when I'm trying to tell a story, almost never when I'm simply talking or answering a question. So it's possible that my stuttering is a result of my mental process, as opposed to my inability to speak at times. I think in those times, I'm trying so hard to make the story make sense, and to say it quickly enough so it's still relevant to the conversation, so in those times, I focus less on maintaining proper pronunciation. I suppose this could be due to what you said, it's a thing I thought of a while ago, and when trying to recall that information, and to think of better ways to say a certain thing, I stutter. It also doesn't help that I try to speak in a very proper manner, rarely using slang. Thanks a lot for the answers here, it's really gotten me thinking. I appreciate the time taken to write both of them.
