He was a young lawyer at a big law firm at that time. Later he did the legal work necessary to setup the Auckland and then the New Zealand Speak Easy Association, an organisation which I was involved with for quite some time. I haven't had any contact with him in over 30 years but great guy as I remember and well liked these days as a judge.
