Stutter Badly but Saved a Person's Life Long story short: One of the people I'm flatting with was unresponsive on the kitchen floor. Initiative took over and I dialed an amublance and had to explain in detail what had happened. Now, I usually dread phone calls but I knew a person's life was more important than a damned speech impediment. The operator understood my condition and let me take my time going through all the necessary steps to ensure the 73 year old man's survivability. About 15 gruelling minutes go by and the ambulance finally arrives, along with two police officers. Again, I had to talk them through the situation but thankfully I didn't have too much difficulty this time around. They eventually found out what he was suffering from and it turns out he was a diabetic with a blood sugar count of 20. The landlord also turned up and thanked me for saving him.
