I'm the same way. My first name is actually one of the hardest things for me to say without any precursor words, so when asked what my name is I have to lead with something like "My name is -name" And that often sounds odd given the context of the conversation. Just saying my name by itself is almost never possible without it sounding like I'm just not responding to them lol.
