I almost heal my stutter, there is hope Hi everyone, before all what you read into my post is come from my personal experience, I'm not a doctor or a specialist, I'm just a guy 28 years old and I'm stuttering while I was a kid 13-14 years old. Please read the entire post is very important. So long story short, I start to have stutter from age of 14 and at age of 16 it became even worse, so worse that I couldn't not say even my name if somebody ask my name. Saying my name was the worse part of my life because I couldn't not say it without stuttering, I stutter words which start with " T " , " P " and ocasionally words with start with " C " and most of them when I start the sentence, if the words are in the middle of the sentence most of the time I can say them but the part where I have to say my name somtimes make me to have panic attacks just by thinking, that bad how is my stutter. I read here alot of people have to same issue so I'm not the only one. Now, since same age when I start to have trouble with speeking I start to have another problems in my health like constipation, panic attacks, stomach pain, anxiety issues, migraines, and all these problems pretty much everyday so my parents start to bring me to all kind of doctors, test, blood test, scanning every organ in the body looking for an answer to my health issues, scanning the brain, you name it everything came back normal. Nobody couldn't not give an answer why I have this issues so the time pass I have about 18 years old and my health issues became so bad I couldn't not even wake up from bed to go to school so I drop from high school because I couldn't not function as a human anymore. So I was a computer guy since a kid, I had internet at home by age of 13 and I start to google myself about what disease I may have so after days, months of reading online about my symptoms I found out maybe what I eat is wrong, I use to eat alot of breed, pasta, pizza, fast food at school, I use to hate my mother foods because is not that tasty so I changed my diet... more fruits and vegetables so I got better with my health, I start going to school again to finish my high school after 2 years BUT my stutter was still there and still bad. So the time fly untill age of 28(now) I still have all kind of issues the old ones migraines, panic attacks, anxiety, stomach pain along with others which accumulated over the years like heart beating too fast, dry skin, red skin on face, poor vision, muscle spams, insomnia, low energy levels and 5 minutes later high energy levels so with another words I'm not feeling like a human, in my 10+ years of my life I'm a zombie, I'm feel trully sick. My last symptom was the muscle spams which came about 3-4 months ago and after about 2 months I found something. I start to google about why muscle spams and I found everything from MS(multiple sclerosis) to, depression, malnutrition of magnesium so I said OK... "what causes malnutrition of magnesium" and finally after 10+ of suffering I found out by muself what is wrong with my body. It's celiac disease which means I do not have to eat gluten(breed, dairy, corn, ryce). After 10 days of gluten free for the first time of my stuttering life I start to see improvments, I use to block more to a word without saying anything more than actually stuttering the word or repeating it. I can now say my name without blocking anymore, I still stutter but is getting better day by day. Celiac disease is an auto immune condition which means your body attack itself when you eat gluten... is attacking everywhere, your stomach, your brain, your cells everything. Stuttering for me came in the same period with another symptomps so for me it make sense. This disease is a cameleon, some people have only one symptom for example infertility, some people may have only migraines, some poeple like me use to have 20 symptoms... maybe some people only stutter ?! I don't know! I'm not a doctor or a specialist but what I'm sure is chaning my diet my health got better including stuttering. Celiac also means that your body is not absorbing nutrients so of course it will cause your brain to not function properly. Please before you try in case you want this can work for you please talk to your doctor first, your familly I don't know but talk with somebody which can give you some advices and if you try please bookmark this link and send me a message after 1 month if you see any improvments. Gluten free means no bread, flour... nothing which came from grains including beer, nothing from corn, no ryce, no meat from animals which was feeded with grains(care with this, I eat only wild fish as meat) no dairy, no processed foods from stores. ONLY fresh fruits and vegetables and as meat fish. Also some people which have celiac disease have also intolerance for dairy(50%) and some of them to nightshades vegetables(potatoes, pepper, eggplant, tomatoes). Eating these foods even with going gluten free your body will not heal. You can't cheat by having a little so if you decide to go gluten free, do not cheat not even a little! EDIT: In my case I was not born like others they stutter since age of 3 and they are like that even at age of 50. My stutter came along with others symptoms because my body do not get enough nutrients. My stutter got worse and worse over the years + with other symptoms which they got worse too. So yeah all my symptoms right now are getting better including stuttering, I'm not 100% heal I still have issues but is the first thing that worked for me and believe me I tried EVERYTHING. You can try this for 1 month if you do not see any improvments you can go back to your old diet BUT if you see any small improvment there are high chances that you may have celiac and a test for celiac is a good start.
