You seem to misunderstand the point of speech therapy - it's not to "cure", it's to _manage_. If improvements are made that are stable enough to feel like "curing", that's just a bonus. But mostly, it's an ongoing effort: You don't go to speech therapy for a one-time solution, you keep going there to figure out what works for you (with regards to managing your stutter). - Change your approach, and maybe you can change your situation too. :)
