Will I grow out of stuttering. Hi , I am 17 yrs old , I have been stuttering at least from 12 yrs old , that's as far back as I can remember and where my mom stays it began and I have seen some therapists over the years none were ever really a help they mostly said to speak slowly and calmly, this does help it but not that much , could it be I got a stutter because I began speaking a little late like 4 and because I am bilingual in urdu and English that could have had some effect because I didn't fully develop either language and kinda still am stuck in between and now being a junior in Highschool this is really something i struggle with especially when it comes to talking to others but I feel i speak better when I kinda relax and fake confidence. I have no family history of stuttering , I have heard that many people grow out of stuttering so you think it would be possible for me to do the same and does the billingual thing play a part in my stuttering?
