I studied economics and just applied for financial analyst jobs and got one eventually. Mostly if you know excel you can get a job in finance if you’re willing to try it out. But if you’re an accountant you probably won’t do much talking either. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. But again, really depends on the field. If you worked for like private equity or something then you might be way more engaged with clients and chatting with them than actual accounting work.
