I work in a very busy international airport. Radio is always busy so when you have that half second gap you need to press the mic button and say your request to air traffic controllers. When I press the button, I get blocks, I cannot speak at all. If I turn the radio off and speak, my voice comes out no problem. If I know I am live I get those annoying blocks. I stutter since I was 7 years old. I did speech therapy, intensive speech therapy, my speech improved 100% but I can’t get rid of my speech blocks.
