I expect you'll get a lot of different answers to your question. I'm a proponent of seeking fluency. Finding a program that helps you increase your fluency. That's not what you're asking about, just a bit of background on where my answer comes from. What does "accept your stutter" mean? Stop feeling negatively about your stutter. If you are frustrated, angry, sad, depressed, or find yourself fixating on your stutter, you've not accepted your stutter. Thoughts like "My life could be X, Y, or Z; if only I didn't have this stutter" are common, and largely untrue. That mindset is indicative of someone who hasn't accepted their stutter. Accept you for you. If you want things out of life, you have to work towards them. Your stutter only stops you from moving towards a goal if you allow it to stop you.
