My best advice is to advocate for yourself and educate yourself more on stuttering so you can appropriately address those types of comments. One way to prepare yourself is to take a brief moment before your speech and let your class know that you have a communication disorder and that you may stutter throughout your presentation. Usually people are more receptive and an added benefit is that people won’t wonder “what is wrong with this person”. There are so many insulting misperceptions surrounding stuttering such as being nervous/lack of confidence/not being thoroughly prepared etc. Control your own narrative and don’t let people make judgments based on your fluency. Finally, I recommend going to Westutter.org and finding the “printable resource” section. There are so many different types of pamphlets that you can potentially leave around campus https://westutter.org/wp-content/uploads/notestolisteners-21.pdf I’d also speak with your teacher privately and let them know a little bit more about your situation and hopefully they will take that into consideration for your presentation review
