How do you/we feel about using stutter as a negative connotation or as a joke?

How do you/we feel about using stutter as a negative connotation or as a joke? “Did I stutter” or video “stuttering” as a fault. Personally, I think it’s an ableist holdover that is low on in the ranking of problematic terms…. But as someone who has stuttered for 30+ years, it’s important to me. When I bring it up, I’ll often get mocked or told it doesn’t matter
