For me, it's been working out, failing to speak fluently and still speaking - because shit needs to get done and I can't live in a shell. I try to build my own startup and requires speaking to people on conferences - in English (which isn't my native language) - and even though I stutter I don't let that hold me back. I also believe that after a while you become desensitized to it.
