Stuttering, Anxiety, and Anxiety Medications

Stuttering, Anxiety, and Anxiety Medications I've known that I've had a stutter for most of my life. However, only recently have I come to grips/been forced to come to grips with the notion that I also have anxiety & social anxiety. To many, the use of anxiety medications is taboo and considered a last resort. But anxiety can be debilitating; it has a constant hold on me and it hinders my ability to live life freely. Have any of you guys used anxiety medications for your stutter-related anxiety? Have they helped and would you recommend using them? Or would you caution against using them? Thanks!
