Growing up I definitely stuttered worse at home but I wasn't comfortable with my mom. She was patient with me, I just grew up scared and at angry at her. She noticed I'd stutter more at home too and would casually ask once and a while why I'd stutter around her more. I didn't have an answer. Currently I stutter in public and work but not as often, the mask mandates have helped cover up my face making and struggles to get a word out! At home I stutter due to being super comfortable and thus, taking too fast to correctly form a sentence. lol I can't seem to find a happy medium.
