Very similar for me. I guess in my twenties (especially early 20s), I didn't think about life & financial stresses much at all. If I had $100 in my bank account I was sittin' pretty lol. Everything changed once I hit 30. I had a child, bought a house, work remotely (I'm much worse on zoom meetings), wearing masks (also, can barely speak in mask), etc. It makes me think of that South Park episode where Magic Johnson cured himself of AIDS. Because he's rich. Maybe being rich could cure me of stuttering. I would have no NEED to speak, everything would be voluntary.
