Don’t ever give up on yourself no matter how hard it gets I used to be embarrassed about my stutter & self conscious about it when I was growing up ..In middle school people thought I didn’t know how to read lol but I didn’t let that stop me from making friends,dating,having fun,& simply just enjoying life..as I got older (I’m currently 20) I stopped caring about it because it’s out of my power I was born this way & im thankful to be alive & have experienced so many blessings in my life & many more to come ..I accepted that my stutter can’t be cured & that it can make simple things become a challenge but I also accepted the fact that I can do things to help myself speak more fluently & grow into a better version of myself that I’m more proud of .. I didn’t like how it felt to be my own worse enemy bad mouthing myself because of how I was born ..I promise you people really don’t care about your stutter more than you do..you might come across some assholes but don’t let them discourage you anybody that can purposely go out of their way to be an asshole is a miserable person that’s not satisfied with their life ..anybody that made fun of you in your past is not thinking about you anymore the moment they left your vicinity they already forgot about you people have their own lives to live with their on bullshit that life is throwing at them .. Don’t give up on yourself & stop bad mouthing yourself..if you have a roof over your head with a nice bed,supporting friends/family,able to eat on a consistent basis,have all your limbs intact, anything that has to do with being comfortable in your living situation besides your speech you have no excuse to feel discouraged & feel sympathy for yourself take those negative feelings & use it as fuel to better yourself ..your life won’t change for the better until you decide to take action & make your life better for yourself..what’s meant to be yours will be yours..doesn’t matter if it’s your future spouse,a job,a car,that item that you wanted in your possession whatever it may be it’s yours & it’s waiting on you to become a better version of yourself so you can finally grasp & hold onto what’s yours..don’t give up on yourself you got this i believe in you.
