I have this, too. To me, if you can speak fluently when alone, or to your pet(s), but not around humans, it's a fear problem, with stuttering being a symptom of that. I speak fluently when alone, or when I speak to my dog. I speak 80% fluent when I hold conversations with my wife. (used to be 50%) But at soon as I have to talk to other people, or certain situations, I will stutter like crazy, with most of it being anticipatory stuttering anxiety. The idea of others hearing me stutter, will cause me such anxiety, that I will feel block's even before I start talking. I will feel like I know when I will block and on which words. How do you feel about your situation? Is it similar?
