When I got my first iPhone, 10 or so years ago, I started recording all my interviews. For two reasons: to evaluate my own speech and to protect myself. Legality of it depends on where you live. Has anyone tried DAF (delayed auditory feedback) app on their smartphone? All you need is a smartphone, a headset and the app. It really does help stuttering. It replays your voice a split second after you speak. You have to work at not listening to yourself and just speak. I can get to 100% fluency. What’s weird, is it can make non-stutterers stutter, but stutterers fluent. It was really popular in the 80s and 90s. But nobody wanted to wear a big ass headset. Now with Bluetooth and AirPods, it’s virtually undetectable.
