People with bad vision or bad hearing do not worry about their bad vision or hearing going away, they simply get a prosthesis (eye glasses or hearing aids) and their situation usually improves. Same for stuttering. People with bad speech (stuttering) often just need a prosthesis like the Edinburgh Masker or DAF (Delayed Auditory Feedback) to improve. Check it out. It just might be what you need. It certainly helped me tremendously.
