When I was younger I wished for a job behind a desk in the back of an office somewhere where I wouldn't have to deal with clients or customers and would only have to talk to my coworkers a small amount. Now that I have that type of job, I am miserable. I limited myself to a job that I thought someone with a stutter is supposed to have. I let my stutter have a say in my life choices. Also, I don't like the corporate job life or the competitiveness of it all so I am trying to move away from that and start a job that I enjoy regardless of my stutter. I would say any job that requires minimal talking like a desk job (my job allows me to communicate through instant messaging for most of my work, which is nice), data entry, night shift positions, or maybe even someone who stocks shelves. At least, that's all that comes to mind for jobs for a stuttering person. All I'm trying to say is, If you like these types of jobs then go for it, but if they don't sound like something you'll be into, don't limit yourself. I did, and it sucks.
