If it helps use it. Mine is slightly embarrassing after a while but its a habit I'm trying to snap out of. I am the blocking type of stammerer where I find it hard to get the first part of a word out, I hardly ever "stutter" as such. I say "urm" when I feel a block coming and sometimes it gets really embarrassing because I cant get the chosen word out and im there saying "urm urm urm" whilst waiting until I can finally say the word. Pretty annoying and a hard habit to snap out of. Hope you're doing well
