I moved to the US when I was 22 and I’ve found out that I speak much more fluently in English than my native tongue. Also, speaking a second language has helped me be more fluent in my native language as well. I firmly believe that speaking a second language plays a big role in treatment of stuttering. I plan to volunteer for an academic research team that focuses on this aspect of stuttering
