I’ve been in 2 long term relationships and 2 flings with a stutter. Really all you can do is speech therapy, work on confidence, appearance, and not care what other people think. Like another poster said, the people who aren’t patient enough to even listen to you through a stutter aren’t people you want in your life anyway, whether it’s friends or people you want to date. It’s mostly a mental/psychological game. Some people even sometimes think your confidence level is higher just by not letting it bother you and being social. It takes practice, but there is a lot of good advice in this sub. I am 34 btw and have stuttered my whole life.
