> Some stutters are psychological, like I said I'm fluent alone, and stutter more in certain circumstances. That is a psychological problem That in no way proves a stutter is only psychological in nature. All stutters have a psychological *element*, as with many things (even aphasia or Tourettes). But at its core, it is a flaw in our motor control. This is why brain scans of stutterers show a marked difference in not just the broca's area/speech production, but also other regions of the brain related to emotions and attention. It is physiological. Your post does not present a cure. If you look in the sidebar, you'll see our rule about using the "C" word. In order to present something on this sub as a 'cure', there needs to be clear scientific evidence. That is why I marked your post 'Not a cure'. This is a discussion of a theory, not a presented cure. There is currently no cure for stuttering. We don't want people to feel click-baited. That was not a slight against your post, just a way to let everyone know the rules are being followed.
